The Challenge
Fueling Excitement at Talladega
Little Caesars and Mountain Dew wanted to tap into the high-speed energy of the GEICO 500 at Talladega to promote a limited-time offer. With NASCAR fans already hyped for race weekend, we were challenged to create a campaign that could break through the noise and move fast, just like the driver at the center of it all, Chase Elliott.
The Insight
Speed Sells. Personality Seals It.
NASCAR fans love speed, but they’re just as loyal to the personalities behind the wheel. By pairing Chase Elliott, the number nine car, with a quick-turn mobile offer, we had the chance to fuse fan culture with a simple, irresistible value proposition. All we needed was the right creative execution to match the energy of race day.
The Idea
Chase Elliott? No Way.
We launched a high-octane campaign headlined by the rally cry, “Chase Elliott? No Way.” With the press of a mobile button, fans could order any Little Caesars pizza using the Pizza Portal and walk away with a free 2-liter of Mountain Dew. I helped drive the visual concept across every touchpoint, from a fast-paced 15-second TV spot to race-inspired car paint, in-store signage, and dynamic social content.
And in a perfect finish, Chase actually took home the win at Talladega.
The Results
A Fast Deal That Delivered
Massive in-store and mobile redemption lift.
Strong fan engagement across social.
Real-time brand moment tied to Chase’s race victory.
